Do I have to be a blessing? The ongoing war between the Kingdom of God and Satan’s kingdom includes all believers, and we wonder what our part is in this war. Believers wage war by being a blessing to those around us. Weird, right? This article will show that the concept is rooted in the Old Testament. Believers should continue this trend in this age. I am sure you have questions about this idea. For instance, does this necessarily include bringing in new members in the Kingdom? What about widows, orphans, the homeless, single mothers, etc.? Keeping the Sacred - When we obey the Lord and engage in church planting, we are part of a sacred activity performed by holy people. Do we view our lives as believers, godly people doing God’s divine work sacredly? As we will see, God cares about how we work. When we allow distractions to deviate our focus to holy work, we violate the sacred. TV, pornography, greed, pleasure-seeking are all weapons of Satan. We go back to the Old Testament to see that deviating from God’s commands makes God furious.
